The texts on the newly designed website www.generalbundesanwalt.de are supplemented by a large number of photos. These are the result of a unique collaboration between the Office of the Federal Prosecutor and the neighbouring HfG Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design).
The seminar “Brick by Brick” lead by Prof. Susanne Kriemann and Jonas Zilius in the summer semester 2019 produced hundreds of photos, from which the images for the new website were selected.
In addition, a series of lectures was initiated by the Office of the Federal Prosecutor in collaboration with Prof. Matthias Bruhn. Employees at the authority reported on how they see themselves and their work and offered subjects for discussion and research.
Opening the Office of the Federal Prosecutor for photographic observation of its premises enabled the students to gain an impression of the working environment. These observations of the interior of a building guide the onlooker through the website and to the deliberately informative texts. The location and its architecture, which prevents any view inside from outside, and the security rules that apply to photography in the Office of the Federal Prosecutor, were a crucial experience for everyone involved.

The seminar participants were Alexander Theis, Hauke Rehfeld, Iden Sungyoung Kim, Isabelle Konrad, Mustafa Emin Büyükcoşkun, Nis Petersen, Philip Lawall and Yaël Kolb.
